About Us
Shrimpy came from humble beginnings in the small town of Rowley, Massachusetts, where her passion for woodworking first sparked in a middle school tech class. Throughout high school, she sharpened her skills with hands-on projects like Adirondack chairs, custom boxes, and triple-decker lighthouse birdhouses.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UMass Lowell, Shrimpy launched her career as a Process Engineer, but never lost her love for woodshop.
Today, she returns to her roots by blending traditional woodworking techniques with high-tech tools like laser marking, 3D printing, and CNC machining. The result is one-of-a-kind pieces that combine timeless skill with cutting-edge innovation.
Grain. Grit. Craftsmanship. More than just a slogan—it’s the soul of every handcrafted product.
